But seem to have made something of yourselves. Just wondering seems as though some types of people just want to blame society for their unprivileged lives.Yeah i read the local metro section and a editorial about this ladies underprivelged life.
Lived in two trailor parks growing up, parents divorced at 13, didn't go to college at first. Through working hard and getting shite done I succeeded. Let's hear how some of you unprivileged people made it.

Just tired of peoples excuses for their failures.

I wasn't born into privilege and haven't made anything if myself. It's my own fault though.

i was born into privelege - upper middle class, white male who is good at math and had two loving parents (although my father is an a-hole).

I have managed to squander it.

this entire topic is just too relative

I don't consider myself to have been "born into privilege" but to the little black kid with 8 siblings being raised in a shack by a single mom on welfare? I most certainly was born into privilege.

Born poor. Most of my family poor so don't have rich relatives to mooch or inherit from.

I'll likely never be wealthy, but I won't have the struggles my parents had. And my child won't face the struggles I faced living poor. I'm content with that.

I was born into privelge but family lost most of it. I come from an from an upper-class Cajun family in Louisiana, family lived on a vast estate called the Chateau D'Haute Rive. Unfortunately my cousin Gilbert had to sell it. I still speak to my other cousin Bill though, he lives in a small town in Texas.

If you even talk about privilege, you don't know what real privilege is.

All I ever wanted as a child was to own an island in french polynesia. I never got that wish so I guess you could say I lived an underprivileged life.

Born very poor- have made more money in a year than my family made in a decade

I am blessed beyond description- that is why I give a signficant part of my income back to charity.
Somewhere out there is a kid like me without much of anything from a good family that cares for their kids but have very hard times from year to year.

this.

a lot of my family had already passed by the time i was born and we had an extremely tramatizing event happen when i was a baby so we moved to BR away from basically what was left of our family and friends. so its always been a very small family just getting through(just me, my brother and my mom for a long time until she remarried) i think im stronger for that and honestly lucked out that i was too young to remember the event and the aftermath because it deffinitly scarred my older brother for years.

ive fought like hell to get through school to put myself in shape to get what i want, which isnt much, but itll be better than what i grew up with

Well I was born white so immediately I'm better than all other races. I mean, according to the race baiters, that is.

No golden spoon. Dad died early. We moved to Florida and my step father was a corrections officer and mom stayed at home.

I managed to learn how to make money on my own. Working well so far.
