It's bland. I won't order the surf and turf there b/c it ruins a great shrimp poboy.

You got something against $30 poboys?

Gotcha.
This past weekend I had one at Acme and one at Chimes.
I only got the half at Acme and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Mostly debris and not as much meat. Maybe the full one (the Ten Napkin) is better.
I love the one at Chimes.

1) Parkway makes the best shrimp po-boy, IMHO
2) If you are downtown, FredRick's on St.Charles Ave makes a good shirmp po-boy
3) Koz's in Lakeview makes a decent one too
4) Russell's ShortStop and Parran's are good too
Like someone earlier said, it's hard to mess up a shrimp poboy, unless you have shitty bread, or don't know how to fry shrimp.

fried shrimp with just the roast beef gravy from parkway is the way to go. Leave the beef off

Get a hold of yourself!
First it's sesame seeds on po boy bread then okra in gumbo and before you know it the whole system has gone to hell!
