A guitar like that in great condition is worth that price, but, that is really not that great of a deal.
Yea, the two piece body era. You could see the seam line along the middle of the body. It wasnt about the value, it was about the tone and how great of condition it was in. It had a natural non-stained flame top with a maple fretboard. It sounded phenomenal.

I had a '95 American Std. Tele that I'd kill to have back. That's the same year that I graduated high school, and the finish, if I remember correctly, was called "crimson burst" and it was limited to that year. Hit hard times and lost it in hock. This one is similar; mine had a standard bridge and bridge pickup.
I also has a DC-30 I'd like to have back.

Had the 4th Budda SuperDrive 30 ever made, bought it from studio that did Matchbox 20 album. Got stolen in Atlanta along with all my other gear, which I recovered, but never found that amp. I'm sure pawn shop that got it never let it hit the shelf or books

That first recorder in first grade. It was crafted with the best plastic that Gary, Indiana had to offer. Everything I know about pitch, started that day.
