Hellooooooo straw man!

Yeah. "They" said that. That's why he had multiple teams begging him to take a max deal.

He's going to be Toronto Bosh for the next couple of years. Big numbers, mid 40's win totals, first round playoffs exits.

I'm sure someone will care enough to bump an old thread sooner or later. There were idiot posters around here saying he wouldn't get a max deal.

I actually think the Heat can be pretty good.

Cleveland
Chicago
Toronto
Washington

Those are the four teams in the East, correct? However, Miami could be the 5th. And they could compete with Washington or Toronto in the 1st round and maybe beat them.

Would be really fun to see a Cleveland/Miami 2nd round matchup.

Plus I don't think Pat Riley is done. I'm sure what pieces they have that they could move, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them some sort of move. I think they finish somewhere around 4-6 depending on how many games they can get out of Wade.

They've got a lot of experience too.

I think they could beat WSH or TOR in a 7-gamer.

Agreed that Miami can definitely go on run in the East, but I don't know that they'd matchup with Washington very well.

Brooklyn and Charlotte could be in their too, depending on health for Brooklyn and how they gel for Charlotte. Miami is going to need a lot of health luck with wade and Deng, but if they stay healthy there's no reason they can't be in the mix below the Cavs and bulls. It's just going to be such a gulf between those two and the rest of the east that it doesn't even matter

Captain obvious. Geez

Why wouldn't the best player in the NBA alongside another elite scorer in the league hurt your numbers?

I agree, you're gonna see a big drop off from Love this year too, imo.

Would you rather have nice stats and never make the playoffs, or would you rather play with the best player in the world and compete for championships?

I tried to tell em man. My boy Bosh is a beast. I said as the #1 option he would put up Kevin love numbers.

Just wait. Dudes gonna average 24/11 this year easy peasy

I wouldn't want to play with Lebron id rather beat him than win a championship with him. That was always my beef with Lebron going to Miami.

Some people would rather beat the best than join forces with him and beat everyone else. I'm one of those people.

I took a beating every time the Love vs Bosh discussions popped up on here the past couple of seasons.

I've said all along Bosh is as good as Love and people pointed to the stats to prove me wrong, forgetting Boshs's Toronto numbers.

I'm not even factoring in last night's 1 game sample size, but I'm fairly confident that Bosh will put up better numbers than Love this season, but those same folks will completely forget their previous arguments and still roll with Love>Bosh, guaranteed.

There's a limited number of points to be scored. You put a bunch of All-Stars together, someone's points are going to fall off. It had to happen the way it did for them to have success.
