When you aren't sucking the nuts of Obama you will learn he can't really give a speech.

Would you like the 35 page transcript of an interview he did for my company in 2006 as a Junior Senator? It's terrible.

FIFY

The shite that spews from Hussein Obama's filthy lying destructive ashen pie hole is hands down the stupidest shite I have ever heard...mainly because it is all denial and lies or shift of blame when trying to defend his COUNTLESS incompetent frick ups. His delivery is nice when his teleprompter is working properly, I'll give him that.

I absolutely hate the BHO affect, the transparent noblesse oblige attempt to come off as folksy by dropping the final consonant off of random words. He painfully strains to over-enunciate every syllable in short bursts but always tries to sneak in the "goin'" for "going" or "tryin'" for "trying".

I'll never understand
why Obama gets
so much love
for his oratory
delivered in three
word bursts (usually)
because he is
reading a TelePrompTer.
Without a TelePrompTer,
he speaks very
poorly, even when
compared with Bush.

Now Reagan could deliver a speech and he was a damn fine writer and editor of a speech.

Johnson was never accused of eloquence, but you knew he knew what he was talking about. I disagreed with most of what he said, but never got the idea he was a wind-up idiot like Obama is.

Obama's only gift is spouting mind numbing platitudes or rabble-rousing invectives. I have never heard him make a conciliatory statement or show any grasp of any compilex situation. You just know he is spewing whatever focus group has determined to be the best political talking point.

Anyone who finds inspiration or leadership in anything he has said or done so far is just stupid - or a fellow traveler out to 'fundamentally change America' into some kind of third world status (with the elites in charge of course.)

The man is disgusting, but the sycophants who gobble his knob are the real evil.

He's got as much in common with the average American of African ancestry as a moon rock does with a Mozart String Quartet. He's a machine party hack and an arrogant snot, to boot.

His wife is quite lovely though.....
Childhood obesity, one might say she personally has a more pressing obesity issue.

Your compassion and sensitivity are overwhelming.

I think all Presidents stumble a bit here and there, other than the true masters of the past 50 years - Reagan and Clinton. Obviously, BHO is totally dependent on the teleprompter - with extemporaneous speaking, you get more ums and ahs than you do English words. HW was awkward as well, at times, and he had 35 years of public speaking. Carter worked so hard to sound like he knew what he was talking about, but he wasn't fooling anybody - at least after a short honeymoon period.

Ford was a pretty solid speaker - content wise - but only Joe Lieberman could make Ford sound exciting by comparison. Nixon was fairly solid, with missteps here and there. LBJ sounded like a bumpkin. JFK was a solid speech maker - comparable to Clinton (perhaps even better) and Reagan. Ike was a little dry, but fairly straightforward and fact based, as was Truman. FDR, although that cadence and speaking style takes getting used to, was a pretty good speaker. It's difficult to tell on the pre-FDR, because the sample size of surviving recordings of their speeches drop off precipitously. There also weren't televised debates, televised addresses, with which to evaluate them. People say Teddy Roosevelt was a pretty good speech maker.
