Birdman is so awesome. Best movie I've seen this year.

Very solid film. Gylenhall was phenomenal. The previews don't give as much away as I was afraid of.

The first half is a bit tedious at times, but it was an understandable buildup.

Thrilling and shocking. Loved it.

ETA: I'm really excited about the discussion of this movie, so everyone needs to hurry up and watch it. I've got some critiques, but I didn't want to get into details in my post.

I've formed a habit of going to movies by myself. I don't have to deal with people whispering their theories in my ears, and I don't have to hear everyone's review the second the credits role. Just a way better experience.

By myself

Every Friday morning I catch one by myself. There's hardly ever anyone in the theater. It's great.

Also, somebody help me decide between Nightcrawler and Birdman. I'm seeing one today and the other tomorrow...

Just got back from seeing it and thought it was a really good film. Gyllenhaal was fantastic. I highly recommend seeing it.

Just got out. Fantastic film. Gyllenhaal was what can be best described as a sociopathic home schooled guy. And he played that shite fantastically.

So, I take it this is NOT about the X-men character?
