Miguel Herrera: "I don't know why he (Jurgen Klinsmann) is on the list of the best 10 managers of the year, maybe because he's German."

Herrera's reaction after he saw JK on the shortlist:

You can always count on one thing from El Tri fans. That they will always think way too highly of their shitty cheating teams.

Didn't Germany beat Mexico one time back when he was playing?

I enjoyed Herrera's antics at the World Cup, but we give him way too much face time now. He's still Mexico's manager, and I still hate Mexico's national team. So basically, frick him.

Yes, your "what does this strange, slang word mean" shtick. You use it on every board I've ever seen you post on.

I agree. I posted it to give him some negative attention because I thought the statement lacked class. A real douche move on his part.

Thank you for your valuable contribution to this thread. And for your model use of the English language.

This is an internet message board. The use of slang is often encouraged. People do not speak or write on a message board as they would in a college English class.

To my knowledge, complete sentence structure replete with subject, verb, and punctuation is not required in a post heading.

Don't be so serious, old man

schtick is a Yiddish word. Jelly tell me that isn't short for jealous. Seriously, do people say that in Louisiana. Nobody in NY talks that way. We have our own slang that I wouldn't use here.

Age has nothing to do with it. Regionalisms. For ex nobody in NY would say butthurt

But I guarantee I was following soccer and attending international matches before you Johnny come latelies. They had tons of international matches in NY before many of you heard of soccer.

and thanks for the info everybody all friends here

I don't know how it works in Jersey, but here in Louisiana, we use proper capitalization and punctuation.
