Nice car by the pics! Don't know the mileage, though and Washington state is a long ways from Virginia...

Thanks, gang. I'm gonna walk away from it. Just needed other folks' opinions and advice. The OB has spoken!

I told her and so did the cop to just hit the deer next time

Then you've never seen what hitting a deer will do to a vehicle. Hit one on the interstate doing 75 in Alabama a few years ago. It wasn't even a big deer and I guarantee the SUV we were in was totaled. Smashed the radiator so hard against the engine that it cracked it in half. Fluids all over the highway. Not to mention, deer are infamous for jumping just before impact and coming through the windshield.

Not even joking. You sound just like my uncle. If this thread was about a Saab I'd be calling you to confirm right now.

Actually, I've never hit one deer. I've hit three of them, but never on the interstate at 75 mph. I could imagine that dodging a deer while driving at 75 mph could be just as catastrophic as hitting it. Big difference in 35 mph and 75 mph... I can only imagine the bloody mess that made, not to mention the vehicle damage cost.

I like you already.

OK, those cars have a pretty good following for reasons that escape me.
That said, if you're buying it for you to drive, fine. Expect issues to crop up related to motor mounts and bearings. That car took a lick and got knocked out of square pretty good, problems will show up down the line.

Personally, I'd pass.

I feel for your wife; it's clear she liked the car.
