Oklahoma and Ohio St as well, plus we could give Notre Dame a hell of a fight

..Hell any of teams ahead of us if we play as hard as we did against Pissy!

We could beat all of them, if we played our A game.

"Could?" Probably just about all of them. Who would they be favored against in a road game? Maybe 3 or 4 at the very most.

The quarterback question is still a major one for this team as far as I'm concerned. It's unfortunate because the defense and offensive lines really appear to have turned a corner and are playing much better than before. The RB's and receiving corps were already good enough before and have only improved as well IMO.
I think LSU right now has one of the best all around teams in the country but the quarterback position is still heavily in doubt and causes the offense to remain very conservative.
For that reason I feel like we can still lose games that we otherwise outclass the opponent in in other positions. You have to be able to win games in a number of ways and I think LSU can't necessarily do that right now.
With a Mettenberger at quarterback and this roster right now, I'd like our chances against anyone. But unfortunately a Mettenberger we don't have. I still like our chances against most teams but I also easily envisage bad losses due to inconsistent offensive output.

Was waiting for this...and you're right....we needed to pull the trigger a bit sooner in the St. game.

I'm gonna say we don't beat Baylor on the road.
They've lost once at home in 4 years and they're reallyyyy hard to stop there.
ETA: With our quarterback play, I'm not sure how great of a road team we are. It'll be a major accomplishment if we can somehow win our last two road games this year. Against teams not as good as the top 18 in that poll (Arkansas, aTm).

I still think Dak could beat us by himself, but other than State, pretty much any of them.

I agree - all of the above. And LSU is not worthy of the lowly ranking it currently has. They are young and getting better game by game. They may lose once more but they will be tough in years ahead without a lot of losses to the NFL.
