Does anyone have a good base defense to use b/c what I'm going isn't working. It can be a 3-4 or a 4-3.

I mean you can't just use one defense. I like a "base" 34 but i also play a lot of 4-2-5 as well.

Stay in nickel and get a good nickelback who can hit. Your safeties are your lifeline so make sure they can cover and tackle. You'll be able to cover most WR sets while also having strength/speed to stop the run.

I just choose from the coaches choice or whatver it's called. I mix it up and I press my corners on every single play. It's successful most of the time.

I alternate between 4-3 over and nickel depending on the situation and it seems to work pretty well

Will throw in some 4-6 if it's like 3rd/4th and 1-2 and I think their running

I run a base 4-3 with a lot of nickel base and nickel 3-3-5.

How do you stop the mother freaking screen? I swear someone could beat me running the same play the entire game.

46 is a good base defense.
Mess around with changing up people's zones.

If they're playing the same damn play you should be able to notice the formation after you choose your defense. User that DE or LB and just follow the HB and sit next to him.
