Carlisle is going to figure out how to make him the best possible player that he can be.
He may not be "worth" his money, but with the ballooning cap who cares? He's the third best player the Mavs have now, and he's better than their third best player from last year.

I've always told people that Parsons was like a a white Lamar Odom. He's got such a unique skill set for his size. He can have some really nice all-around statlines, but he can also get really passive and stand around on offense.
Don't know if he's worth the money he was paid, but definitely a very nice piece to help build a championship type team.
