Over 214,000 doctors won't participate in the new plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA,) analysis of a new survey by Medical Group Management Association shows. That number of 214,524, estimated by American Action Forum, is through May 2014, but appears to be growing due to plans that force doctors to take on burdensome costs. It's also about a quarter of the total number of 893,851 active professional physicians reported by the Kaiser Family Foundation. In January, an estimated 70% of California's physicians were not participating in Covered California plans.

If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

The question that I keep asking, which no one on the left seems to want to answer...if the ACA is supposed to be such a great plan, why are more and more organizations (go figure. most all of them heavy supporters of Obama and democrats) not required to participate in it?

Wait? Liberal California won't have 70% of Doctors in the program?
Greedy arse doctors! How dare they get paid for their years of training? They should be serving us!

It's called 'rationing'. Happened way back in the 70s in Europe. Now, we're gonna get a first hand knowledge of it. Enjoy.

Can't say that we were not warned about this.
More and more doctors are refusing Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Once obama-scam takes full affect, many more doctors are going to drop out all together.
Off-shore practices will start opening up,ie medical tourism. We will see inventive ways like doctors setting up 'cruise ships' outside US waters, we may even see Indian reservation style doctor offices/hospitals, just like they do with the casino's.
Black markets will start to emerge.
BUT you can bet your bottom boots that when scum like obama, pelosi, reed, landfill...need healthcare, they will have the best of the best while the peons suffer.

And yet one conservative on the Supreme Court let this travesty live.

I've yet to meet a single attending of mine who is on board with healthcare reform as it currently exists.
Not a single one.
Not a single one.

Have fun waiting 18-24 months for a medical procedure that could save your life.

You guys in the medical field are the last line of defense in defeating this scam.
Our politicans have screwed us, the courts have screwed us.
The doctors of this nation are going to have to get loud, angry, and mad. And get the people stirred up.

Yeah, that's probably what they meant to say.
