Yes, I realize it's a conservative leaning commentary but the numbers our out there from other sources.

The OP didn't say the WaPo as a whole was conservative leaning. He said this particular commentary was conservative leaning.

[quote]What is even more disconcerting is their estimate that up to 6.4% of all non-citizens participated in the 2008 elections and roughly 14% are eligible to vote. - See more at: LINK ]

Uhhh... if they are eligible to vote, its not really fraud, is it?

Non citizens can't vote, dumbfrick. If they are eligible it means they are registered illegally to vote

Good point.

Yet another insight: if I cheat on my taxes and am never, ever caught, am I really cheating?

HEY MORONS-

the WaPo left this little tidbit out:

quote:

Voter photo-identification rules have limited effect on non-citizen participation.

Funny what you can find out if you actually take the time to track down sources, eh?

So if you are here illegally and pose as a citizen then it's legal to vote logic from liberals. So if a criminal poses as a law abiding citizen then according to liberal logic it's ok to buy firearms. Why can illegal aliens vote again?

So what?

If even 1 vote is disenfranchised it's intolerable! I learned that in Fl in 2000!

I personally witnessed Mexicans voting for Dem's in a recent election in La.. I saw the Teachers Union leader go get the Headstart vans and go pickup 40 Mexicans at a sweet potato farm and carry them to vote. They had little pieces of paper to vote Dem and they could not speak English,I tried to talk to them. I guess they got registered earlier and then bused down to vote. After 6 weeks of picking, they all left the old wood house they were sleeping in and went back to Mexico.

Just decided to take a look at the study and noticed this bombshell of a claim in the abstract:

quote:

Non-citizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress.

Thought it was worth bumping this thread and not the other, because the other was authored by SEC Crazy.

They are eligible to vote ILLEGALLY.

Just the fact that they are signed up confers eligibility to vote by the state, that doesn't mean they are legaly eligible to vote.
