Based upon history, this is just moving the goal post.

Public school?

not direct aid. i'd let local/state school districts figure that one out

Emergency room visits?

except them from EMTALA

quote:

Police fire departments?

indirect federal aid. local/state issue

well it's a hypothetical that will never happen. it's a thought exercise to address what the issue with immigration is to people

If you make that kind of deal, it prolly won't hold up in federal court. You're either a citizen or not. There is no in between.

Didn't they just have report showing 5% of illegals currently vote?

Work visas. No amnesty, but a grace period to get visas in order.

No, why should illegals be rewarded for breaking our laws.

All illegals should be rounded up and deported.

Even if that is true, which is may, Im sure there are plenty of people aiming to raise that percentage.

Why in the heck do you think the left is so against voter ID? It damn sure isn't because it's "racist."

That's just the only hot button moniker they can give it that will stoke emotions and get people against it.

All paid for by tax dollars.

I wouldn't have a problem with this deal - as long as it was documented and their taxes were being paid the same as anyone else.

Because it won't take long for Chuck Schumer to get infront of a camera surrounded with a backdrop of hispanics to cry elephant tears about how unfair and how much of an injustice it is, treating these hispanics like sub citizens 3/5ths of a person etc., then 20 minutes later some judge would strike it down as unconstitutional

I saw the Teachers Union leader go get the Headstart vans with it's director and drive out to the Bushes canned goods sweet potato farm and picked up 40 Mexicans to carry down to vote. They all had little pieces of paper with Democrat names on it to vote for. I tried to talk to them, they couldn't speak English. They bought them lunch and took them to an old wood house. There were 8 pallots on the floor in each room for sleeping on. All Mexicans.

Legal residence, yes. NO path to citizenship without 8 years active duty("dreamers" only) military. If that's the minimum for an ROTC scholarship, don't complain when trying to earn citizenship. None of this "2 years community college" bullshite they were pushing.

1. If a person who entered the country illegally as an adult wants to become a citizen, they must leave first and go through proper channels. A window of time will be provided for you to make arrangements to do so. We will pay for the trip home, and forgive the border jump/visa overstay. Prove that you're serious about it.

2. If one wants to stay for whatever reason, there will never be a path to citizenship provided. "Come out of the shadows,"(broad daylight) and register. Again, a defined window is necessary. You may stay as a legal resident, maybe a blue card etc, but you will never vote.

Those that do not take option 1 or 2 will be deported upon discovery. Aggressively pursue those who do not participate in the legal paths to residence/citizenship, as they will have shown a complete disregard for our laws and sovereignty on multiple occasions.
