if the Dems lose the Senate. Her only selling point, her O&G influence in DC, will be worth exactly jack-squat if Harry Reid loses the majority leadership.

Well, in fairness the D's are likely to take the Senate back in 2016. The Republicans are defending a lot more seats next time around.

In fairness, that seat won't be one of them.

If President Obama grants Legal status to the illegals, which I know is an oxymoron and they can vote in 2016 I agree. If he grants them legal status but they cannot vote due to whatever reason I think the D's lose. I think the strangle hold on the AA voting block is disintegrating.

And jack squat is what her chairmanship has done for us up to now.

And what will the next President do with respect to oil & gas? What good is Mary Landrieu if the next President is of the same mindset as Barack Obama? There won't be any benefit since the federal government will be opposed to anything except development on private land, and the government may go after that with increased regulations to prevent enhanced recovery techniques.

The only beneficiaries of Mary Landrieu being in the Senate will be crony capitalists who can expect federal contracts to be steered their way.
