Probably one of the consoles if you want a healthy population in multiplayer. The PC community is tired of COD and how the port is always subpar (PC still only gets the console experience in terms of standard texture quality, locked FOV, and no server browser). Generally there's a surge in players the first couple of months after release, followed by a sharp decline to just a few thousand, then a few hundred.
Still, I've been a sucker for those games for the stupid mindless fun they offer during lulls in compelling single-player releases. I always bought them on release day, including Ghosts. Ghosts was the first one that was bad enough for me to file a paypal dispute and get a refund. (I should've done the same with MW3 but Ghosts was just the last straw)
I'll wait and see what like-minded individuals think, if they buy the game (the ones who recognize COD for what it is and enjoy it but have grown tired of the bad ports and general sameness of each release; I already know what I'll hear from the same old trolls who've bashed COD for the past 5-6 years.)

I wouldnt mind getting this game if it gets good reviews. I didnt last on ghost more than a day. To add to it, I dont have a ps4 or xbox1, and I haven;t had a gold membership for my 360 in almost a year.
