Shame that one of these teams will muddy up the playoffs with their incompetence.

The NFC North and AFC North team records are so inflated being matched up with the South. Detroit should be 4-4 right now.

yeah, either the Saints, Panthers, or Falcons will host a playoff game.

technically you can't count the Bucs out yet either.

Even If the saints were 4-2 like they should be, it would still be the worst division in the NFL by far. This may be just like the 7-9 Seattle team who made the playoffs in 2010

I don't know if I would be bragging about the NFC East. No one can even remember an NFC East Super Bowl not won by the Giants.

Last year was bad

but other than that the East regularly gets two teams in the playoffs.

You use Super Bowl wins in your argument. Who's winning Super Bowls in the East besides Eli's occasional retard strength run?

NFC South has had 2 teams in the playoffs a lot more often in last few years than the NFC East as well.

When it comes down to it the east is better than the south 8 out 10 times.

So the post like its been sooooo good is a little off. Its had its years.

It would be awesome if the Saints could host as 7-9 division winners vs the Seahawks.

Yeah if you're talking 10 years ago but within the average fan's memory, the last 3-5 years, the NFC South has been much better. Saints, Falcons, Panthers have all gotten first round byes in the past 5 or so years.

The last 2 years the NFC East champ was 10-6, the year before they were 9-7, the year before that they were 10-6. You have to go back to the 2009 season before a division winner from the East won 11 and that year the Saints won 13 and the Super Bowl.

The NFC South has been much, much better than the East and it's not even really debatable.

Because nfl teams go through a draft and can't pick the best players who grow up in their states?

It was a tongue in cheek question.
