Rushing the field: final topic post

People complaining about it need to get that stick out your arse.
I wouldnt mind if they rushed the field after every damn game. People around here have forgotten this game - at the college level especially - is about pride and passion. These young kids deserved it after all the criticism the program's received lately, not to mention all the hard work. Winning in the SEC is not easy and shouldnt be taken for granted.
That pic of TQ surfing the crowd says it all.
What makes LSU special are the passionate fans and crazy environment. Chants, taunts, all of it, adds to the TS lore.

Exactly. This is the complete opposite of leaving at halftime. Shows our fans actually give a shite.

I have to say I agree. Left last night with that stick up my arse thinking it's just ole myth, why rush the field? Saw that picture when I got home last night and thought tell that to Trey Quinn! Students hadn't rushed the Field since 2001. Those players loved it, the students loved it, it's not about us old farts.

I've never once heard a coach say we're playing for pride and compassion. Actually, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that.
Maybe when we knelt with 5 min left again OM in 2011?

Didn't like it...but who cares. It was mostly the students anyway. I would much rather that if everyone stays like that the entire game and the atmosphere is like that. Was awesome.

I am cool with the rushing the field bc it was not really a rush it was more like they went down to the field to celebrate.
Plus this is a real young team. The crowd was awesome last night all the way to the end.

I didnt like it, but it showed some passion. Something the crowd and fans have been lacking.

I would suspect, surmise.......... that having to be with or around anyone at length (like stuck in a car on a long trip) that either did, is or would complain........ about our fans celebrating by rushing the field last night.........to be the equivalent of having died, then judged unworthy by your maker, and now find themselves stuck and banished to HELL for eternity!!
