I saw when they messed up the play clock, then soon after they blew the whistle when the play was still live? That was weird.

They seemed below average tonight. Not one of their better efforts. Which is a shame, both teams deserved better. The SEC deserves better.

The no call on the pass interference call against trey Quinn was a bad no call early in the game.

This. They kinda inserted themselves in the game more than they should have.

The inadvertent whistle was a bad blunder.

And the foul for spinning the ball was going overboard. Although on the replay you could see the OM player kicked the ball while it was spinning (not sure if he did it intentionally). Still it didn't go that far and there really was no need for a penalty there.

That was the worst part about the officiating to me all night. How do you call UC for one thing but totally allow celebrating another time. Honestly, they shouldn't call that at all for celebrating unless it delays the game. Let them celebrate! It's a game. They called it bad onthe Tigahs and the Rebel scum.

They were very bad in person. Missed a few face masks,a couple of blatant holds. Interference when Adams had a shot to end it. The Fournette whistle was straight awful. They started off bad, were decent through the middle though missed calls, then were absolutely awful at the end.

the Ole Miss player for spinning the ball after his INT was chicken shite.

I thought it was because, after spinning the ball, he made some gestures or remarks toward the sideline. I didn't rewind it though, so I could be mistaken.

Loved that they gave Ole Miss an extra 5 seconds on the FG attempt before finally calling delay of game

The refereeing crew was not bad although uncertain I'd want them calling kids bantam football game

What about the play on 3rd and 2 where we got a false start? Sure looked like an offisides watching it live.

They actually have spinning the ball written into the rule as example of excessive celebration in one of the ref handbooks that came out when they made that penalty a priority (I will try to find the book/reference..been awhile). But I agree that it is bush league to call that and not the "superman" move after a tackle!

clearly out with a foot at the approx. 44 yard line and again at the 37 yard line

They call the 37 yard line and gave Ole Miss 7 yards.

No way the heel does not touch, the announcers said the toe was in but the heel may have not touched. Only a dancer stays on their toes, every athlete running strikes the heel after the toe

Our O-lineman barely twitched his arm. Didn't take his hand off the ground though. I guess technically you can call that but really on the replay it didn't look like much more than some goosebumps traveling down his arm.

Great call by the refs! LSU tried to cheat a little, and the refs caught us. I'd bet that the whole offense was in on it - a hard count and Vadal will twitch his interior arm where the ref won't see it. It worked great, but the refs DID see it.

The replay showed LSU's linemand flinched...
The spinning the ball thing is automatic foul...it's a rule.

I thought the non-call on interference on Quin was the only really bad miss I saw on TV...
The ole Miss board had a lot of fans bitching about missed holding calls on LSU...not surprised the butt hurt would strong...

Did anyone see a replay of the play after Mills got called for PI?

I thought the Miss receiver was interfering with Adams, and Adams would otherwise have had the PI. But I never saw a replay.

The big play Ole Miss had that almost went for a TD was an obvious pick play. I mean the guy straight up blocked the defender downfield before the downfield throw. The exact same thing was called at the end of FSU-ND and it was a less obvious infraction by ND.

Additionally Ole Miss had another big play extended by a block in the open field below the knee. I thought this was also a penalty.

These stuck out as the defense was shutting Ole Miss down and these were a couple of their big plays that fromy view should have been called back.

Also how can an offense with the clock under ten seconds left in the game basically take a delay of game penalty to get a timeout (basically what happened in the game). That seemed weird to me. I thought there were rules to prevent offenses from abusing the system with penalties.

There seemed to be a presumption against LSU and in favor of Ole Miss.
