I have friends who are mormon and decided to only have 2 kids. They haven't been executed by their church leaders.

It's a shame your friends wife won't be getting into heaven.

She failed to provide the proper number of spirit babies.

You lie badly. This is no rule of mormonism at all. Where do you get your info from? Please link it.

Sure, Iran's countless hundreds-thousands innocents sentenced to death are amazing compared to big bad USA's less than 10 innocents or so.

I thought one innocent life was too many.

That's what the anti-abortionist tell me all the time :-).

i've met a bunch of mormons and know one family very well...and they'd scoff at this statement

i don't know how "mainstream" that is

quote:

A 22-year-old woman in Provo, Utah is considered an old maid....you know this right?

i bet you that more students at BYU are single than married

quote:

And I said it sounds like mormonism and everyone got up in arms.

because you picked a very small cult that isn't mainstream mormon and isn't a state religion

2 things completely different than what was stated about iran

quote:

Mormons do view their women as property, they certainly view them as breeding machines and if you ain't married by 21 mormon society looks way down on you.

i love how every person in this thread who knows mormons don't have the same experience as you

So all those "breed to get into heaven" posts are a swing and a miss. He's making a complete fool of himself with those posts.

i'm telling y'all

he had all this shite lined up to talk shite about romney in 2012, but since his religion was pretty much off limits, he's had to sit on it

Nah, if you recall I didn't make my mind up who to vote for until the day before the election.

That being said, most of what I am saying is well known...but then again my area is dominated by Mormons and you are in Baptist/Catholic central.

Pure and utter bull.

You need to take your own advice.

This thread is hilarious. I keep hearing that atheists know more about religion than theists, but I'm not seeing any evidence of that from asurob.

Rob doesn't realize he's arguing with 3 atheists and one agnostic in this thread.

Hey this was a fun way to spend an hour :-).

It's always interesting to see which direction we can point these threads ;-)

Back to work for me.

Then link it, because it is blatantly false.

Which explains your deep seeded hate. You hate religion first and foremost, but since you are surrounded by mormons you save a special hate for them. Gotcha and why all your lies make sense now.

Yep. Here's an official LDS source outlining the requirements to enter the celestial kingdom:

No mention of 5 children.

Rob happily debates everyone about religion ;-)...

...doesn't really care who they are or what they choose too or not worship.

Then I grew up.

Nah, could care less about mormons. They are a cult.

Now Catholics...don't get me started about that "religion".
