A famous restaurant in NYC decided to hire a firm to figure out why they kept getting bad reviews. What this firm discovered is quite interesting. below is a transcript that the restaurant posted on Craigslist after they discovered what it was...

We are a popular restaurant for both locals and tourists alike. Having been in business for many years, we noticed that although the number of customers we serve on a daily basis is almost the same today as it was 10 years ago, the service just seems super slow even though we added more staff and cut back on the menu items…

Believe this got posted before. Can't remember the opinions though.

I think a common sentiment was that they are wrongly blaming customers

Hell, it could have been me that posted it.

I think they do go a little overboard on blaming customers, but I have looked around after being seated, and my wife and I were the ONLY customers not on their device.

So naturally, we pull ours out, too.

Yeah I am guilty of this with friends or Parents even. When I'm with the SO though, never on the phone.

They do have a point that when seated some people immediately get on their phone instead of selecting their dishes.

This sounds like a disgruntled restaurant that wants to get as many tops as possible in a night.

It also seems made up.
