if you make $15M, you'd better be an all star. And I'm not sure how any offense is more friendly than what the rockets run.
no, if you make $15m you better be an integral part of a team making a deep playoff run. which the mavs are poised to do. I don't give two flying fricks about the all star game.
Dirk took a $50m pay cut. should he have been an all star before he restructured his contract? he still might be. because it's a popularity contest

He doesn't have to be on the All-Star team, but he sure as hell better be in the conversation.
I really don't think Mavs fans realize how often the guy disappeared for the Rockets. That's the benefit of being an underpaid role player. People talk about you when you're great, but you aren't taking the heat that a Harden or Howard is taking when things aren't going well.

I honestly think Ariza fits better than Parsons, but I would feel uneasy knowing how he is after signing a big contract. His play always seems to drop from the year prior.
You guys generate a lot of offense, and if Ariza can knock down 3s at the same rate he was last year, Parsons isn't necessary with Harden, Beverley, and Howard

While this can be true, I think Ariza is out to prove his worth to Rockets fans after his struggles last time.

I just hope one of the texas teams get left home this year so the pelicans can sneak by with a 7th/8th seed
Half of me thinks its going to be Dallas and Parsons is gonna underperform.

The West is so damn good, specifically the Southwest. The Pels easily make the playoffs in the East with that front court.
