Mike Wilbon just did the unspeakable. He said Saturday night in Tiger Stadium , he picks LSU to upset the Rebels.
I'm not sure this is a good thing considering he is usually wrong

Yeah, they always have to pretend to be at odds like May and Holtz.

Picking a 3-point underdog who's playing at home isn't reaching too much, I suppose. He won't look like an idiot if he's wrong.

If the Tigers get good play at quarterback, there's no reason LSU can't win this thing at home.

There's the rub. We likely see an average game manager throwing 18 passes at best.

With our only Division 1 quarterback sittin' the bench it will be difficult. But there's always hope.

LSU has a great chance to win this game. We had the unfortunate schedule of playing two of the top teams in CFB right out of the gate. While I hate that we got man handled by both MSU and AU, putting it in perspective, the losses were not that bad. Also remember that according to many, AU played its most complete game against LSU.

As Oscar Wilde wrote, "You can always judge a man by the strength of his enemies". I love that teams consider us their big game of the year and want to beat LSU. It matters!

The team seems to be gelling and finding a way to win. LSU is a dangerous team right now and will get better as the year progresses. I honestly believe if we had played AU later in the year, things might have turned out different. Much like AU last year when we beat them early. Just one of those things.

We have a chance not just to end the season for other teams but we have a chance to win and either get a great bowl game or conceivable make the playoffs. SEC is so difficult that every team could potentially have two losses.

It isn't over until the fat lady sings and she isn't even warming up.
