What should I see at the theater tonight? Gone Girl or John Wick?

I think it's going to depend on what mood you are in rather than the comparable quality of the films.
Want visceral butt kicking with a lean script and great set pieces? I think the answer is clear.
Want a slow burn drama/thriller hybrid with some twists and turns? Gone Girl.
I haven't seen either, FWIW, but will see one or both this weekend.

Gone Girl. Plenty of time to see John Wick, and Gone Girl is incredible.

Very easy decision. Gone Girl looks really interesting and is probably a great movie. John Wick looks like trash and Keanu Reeves is Keanu Reeves. Enough said.

Gone girl was ok. Affleck was ok...everyone else was pretty good. Haven't read book and saw most of the "twists" a mile away.
It wasn't a bad movie...but it wasn't some cinematic masterpiece either.
Just my opinion.
