It's just not good news when the first thing they look for are female genitalia and not a resume

Because James Gunn's resume was so awesome when Marvel decided to hire him to direct Guardians of the Galaxy.

Y'all are missing the point so much on why them just going with a person solely because they have tits is different than going with someone specifically who has some sort of vision.

They appear to be stuck on defending the possibility that a woman director can knock this out the park.

The problem is, you're not saying they can't.

You're saying that its bullshite that the fact that before the search for a director even begin's, WB has ruled out half the human population.

Your point is hard to debate against. How is it ok to exclude anyone from a job opportunity based on their gender?

Exactly. While I do think some of are atrocious choices, I am not against a woman in general directing it. They may be great, and if they just announced a woman director, I'd have nothing against it. But there are plenty of great male directors who would want a chance to bring Wonder Woman authentically to the big screen.

In effort to not spear sexist, they're doing the most sexist thing possible. It's hypocrisy at its absolute finest.
