Just bring back Alphas. It was better than all of these neutered "superhero universe without a single superhero" shows. I gave up on Agents of Shield after 2 episodes. I gave on Gotham after 3.

Give Transparent a try, its original modern comedy and Jeffrey Tambor is great.

You gave up too soon on Agents of Shield. I was also about ready to give up on it, but it got a lot better once they tied it to the events that occurred in the Winter Solder movie. From the episode right before the release of CA:WS onward it, it has become a different show.

Check out Manhattan on WGN.

The acting in The Flash is atrocious, but if you can look past that, it's a good new show.
As far as network comedies go, I've been enjoying Marry Me and A to Z. Marry Me's ratings are strong, but A to Z looks like it's going to get canned.

Gotham isn't bad. Flash has probably been the best so far.

The Flash has been my favorite by far. How to get away with murder is sort of fun if you can get past how ridiculous it is.

Really? I think the acting on The Flash is better than some other superhero shows.

It's really not. It's pretty bad.

Another vote for " The Knick" It's nothing mind blowing but the first season was solid entertainment. Here's a brief synopsis:
quote:
The Knick is a television drama series on Cinemax directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Clive Owen. It looks at the professional and personal lives of Dr. John W. Thackery (played by Owen) and the staff at a fictionalized version of the Knickerbocker Hospital ("the Knick") in New York during the early part of the twentieth century.

What superhero tv shows have better acting?
I mean I'm not saying it has excellent acting in it. But for a comic book based tv show it really isn't that bad considering the genre.
