What's the deal with Phoenix's doctors? I've always read random stories tidbits about them having the best healers in the NBA.

Its the dry weather, not the doctors.

That whole situation worked out in a net positive for us

Nash definitely flopped a lil bit though

He even admitted as much after the fact

Honestly, can't say I blame him--both teams were looking for every advantage they could get. Not Nash's fault that dumbass Amare and Diaw couldn't keep themselves on the bench

Beat 'em at their own game in '05 and '07, then ripped their hearts out in the first round in '08.

No wonder Nash wept when they finally beat us in '10

He's literally been stealing money for 2 years now and this would be a 3rd. The classy thing to do would be to retire and not steal the Lakers' money and cap room.

figuratively, and stay on the Nash topic instead of making this a Kobe thread :P

the Lakers can't get a Lebron, a Carmello, etc in LA until they suffer through the end of that stupid Kobe contract

Amare gets shite, Mashburn got shite, Kobe even gets shite. Why the hell does nobody criticize Nash for being a greedy prick?

Because Nash's theft is 28mil over 3 years when the contract he signed, he was still relatively healthy.

Kobe's theft is 48.5mil over 2 years after two major injuries at his age and he still spews the same old shite that he wants to do everything possible to win rings, but taking up 1/3 of the salary isn't going to do that.

Amare's contract was 5yr 100mil where he pretty much played 1 solid year, and then 3 years of injuries and lack of playing time even when healthy because of bad conditioning.

Kobe's Over/Under on shot attempts per game this season just went from 40 to 50.

I think we could get something for Kobe such as a young talented but unproven player or a 1st round pick from some team wanting to make a run this year or next and need a player to get them over the top. He can still fill it up every night.

there isn't a team willing to take on that salary in the entire league...

well except the lakers obviously

All the Lakers had to give up to get Nash for a total of 65 games was just $28 million, plus two 1st and two 2nd round draft picks

He will be one, but Shaq got robbed of those MVPs. The Phoenix Suns were the fun story those years, but Shaq was dominant.
