With the lack of pass protection and feeling like he constantly has to make a big play, is Drew showing signs of becoming Romo?

It used to be that Drew would make the right desicions just about all the time. But now late in the game you almost have to hold your breath everytime he drops back to pass.

He's thrown a pick in every game this year, except maybe Minnesota I believe.

Great system QB in his heyday but as of 2014 this dude is trash

Let's pick up Jake Locker so Sean Payton can make him look like a hall of famer next

Every QB's stats is a reflection of the quality of offensive line. Remember when we had multiple pro bowlers on our line, now not so much. Unfortunately our line has taken the hit on salary cap issues and Drew is reaping the results of those decisions. Hopefully Drew restructures after this year and we can rebuild our line, until then we get what we get...

Uh...16.32mil to an interior line that is bottom 5, if not the worst, in pass protection tells me you are pointing at the wrong person.

Strief averages 4mil/yr and is one of the top rated RTs in the league as well.

Brees restructure =/= pay cut btw.

and how did Romo suddenly become "elite" this season and become one of the best teams in the NFC? they have a fricking offensive line.

when was brees at the top of his game? when he had one of the best lines in the league. this isnt a coincidence. great lines help elevate QBs. romo was god awful in the past because their line was one of the worst. now he has one of the best and they are great.

its really not a hard thing to realize. we just need to sure up our line and Brees will return to form.

Our oline's problems are at the position where they are getting great pay

This is stupid. Sure Brees deserves most of the blame for the losses, but that's because he tries to make big plays when he should obviously throw the ball away/take the sack.

Dude has played 27 games in 4 years. That's 6.75 games a year. Friggen pathetic. Don't want that injured mess.

Should be he doesn't so as of 2014 he's trash.

While Peyton Manning sits at an elite 22-3 he sits at 11-7

And while the other 2 elite quarterbacks look elite he's middle of the pack. I don't wanna hear no excuses he's a 100 million dollar man and I was once told he was an elite quarterback. I don't see that

The Brees bashing is ridiculous. The whole arm thing(see people calling him noodle arm, popcorn arm, etc) is crazy too. It amazes me how many people want to replace him already. Even after the ridiculous run he has had since he came here. He had a great year last year. Yes he's struggling some this year but so is the oline and really the whole team.

Then again, I tend to look at facts and make my decisions based on facts unlike a lot of people.
