Les should have put Lee in, but I doubt it would have resulted in a win. I remember hoping people were right about that game but having a strong feeling they weren't.

LSU will score more than 13. When is the last time we scored less at home?
LSU only scored 17 when they lost to Bama at home in 2012

That's fine. I'm hoping we win 17-16 myself.

I'm just saying that absolutely nothing points to an LSU win

When you ask people why they think LSU will when these are the answers you get

1. I got a good feeling about this

2. Jamal Adams has "swag"

3. Call it a "gut" feeling

4. I haven't been this excited about a game in years

5. This team embraces the "spoiler" role

I could go on. It's all ferry tale bullshite. And it's annoying.

Takes a lot of courage to bash a man anonymously on a message board because of his OPINION.

There is no bashing in that post.
He did work at a water district and he now makes money by claiming to be an "expert."
He can have all the opinions he wants....just trying to point out his is by no means an "expert" one.

you mean as opposed to those predicting that Ole Miss is going to "skull frick LSU because our QB sucks and our retarded coach is stuck in the 60's"?

not an unreasonable prediction, but I was disappointed at his assessment of the game. He still commented that LSU basically has no DT's and no middle linebacker so they would be vulnerable to the power running game. The fact is Ole Miss really doesn't have a power running game and Beckwith, along with some scheme changes, has certainly solved some of the problems defending the middle of the field.

Well, that's good for LSU then. I'm pretty sure there are more ferries across the river here in Louisiana than in Mississippi. So that should give us an edge. I don't think I've heard any tales set on a ferry but I guess there are some out there.

Excellent question.
I really don't know.

it's a bad matchup for LSU. Jennings isn't a great qb, which means LSU is going to have to rely on the run, and LSU's defense is having problems stopping mobile qb's.

in a game with so much variability there aren't really any "experts". I like to listen to Mike D's analysis, in general. But he didn't really take an objective look at this game. And I really discount anyone already predicting LSU will lose to A&M at this point.

how many of the big QB runs early on were Welter's fault?
