I try not to curse around my mother but my father and I spew vulgarity like sailors, especially during football games.

I started cursing around 2nd or 3rd grade, but not around adults, except for stuff like "crap" or "sucks." Anything more and my parents would have knocked me out.
All that went out of the window when I was about 17/18. I partly attribute it to Katrina--we lost our house in the storm and stress was extremely high, so no fricks were given about me saying frick.

They never did it in front of me, I never did it in front of them. Karma satisfied.
My kids did not hear me until they were in their twenties. They were surprised. Only one of them mildly curses in front of me.

Dead for almost twenty years. So, no. Miss her though no pics. I actually very rarely curse. I appreciate your indulgence, I assure you it was not personal, only for dramatic effect. I can curse without being told something, and do on rate occasions when emotions get the best of me, but still at 28 its weird.
