and we likely will lose. Why is that? On paper, there seems to be no way we can win this game. Their defense is arguably the best in the nation and our offense is inconsistent at best. Our defense has been gashed both times we have played Top 10 level teams.

However, for some reason, I think we are going to win this game. Not only that, I think we might win it comfortably (10 or more points).

Anyone feel the same way?

I feel like we win but not for the same reasons.

I think we match up great on paper.

Not me. Don't remember the last time we beat OM by ten points in B.R., but it hasn't been in the last 15 years.

Kind of have the same feeling. We may be the underdogs on paper, but on Saturday night in Death Valley, anything can happen.

I think that we see the kind of effort from the team that we normally see towards Alabama. I remember in 2008, Alabama came into Baton Rouge as a heavy, heavy favorite and LSU took them to overtime and really should have won that game.

I think this team is rounding into better shape than the 2008 team. However, that effort - supreme overachieving effort - has always been present against Bama at home.

I think we are about to see the same type of focus, attention to detail and effort.

These are the type games that kids sign with LSU to play in - big stage, a lot of focus, emotional, violent football games.

It will be a close one either way.

But the game is strength vs strength on both sides. Their front 7 is great, our running game is the only thing we do well offensively.

Our DBs are the strength on defense, their passing game is their strength.

I think LSU will win it , our qb will be more sure of his self since he has the job and and a well established running game !

You can't something that's just not correct and put "arguably" in front of it and expect it to be okay.

Watch..."Brandon Harris arguably throws the best deep ball in the country".

There have been alot of improvements on defense Godcheaux, Hunter and Rasco are all playing MUCH better. Beckwith is in full time and so is Adams. There is reason for excitement, but in the end our offence (specifically the passing game) is not good enough to win this game without some Tiger Stadium magic (return, turnovers, injuries etc)

Our defense has been gashed both time we've faced a mobile quarterback. Which OM doesn't have.

I have a good feeling about this one as well. I'm not sure if it's because Ole Miss has never been that great in my lifetime or what but I just think we are going to beat them. Also, I think this is going to be one of the best atmospheres we've had in a while and I think that may play a part.

Very excited for the game and atmosphere around campus. Unfortunately I don't think our O can score enough points to vs the best D we have faced to win the game. I think it'll be as close as the point spread and low scoring.
