that was my issue with Keenan going into the year.....Nothing really particular about his game sticks out. Rivers locked in on him last year as mostly all of his weapons were hurt. Guys around him are healthy and the volume of targets just isn't there. Definitely not getting the redzone looks he received last year either.

no.
he had 6 catches for 70 yards in two regular season games against Denver last year. Had a big playoff game. He's had 1 good game against Denver out of 3. Wouldn't say that's owning anyone, especially since Denver's secondary is MUCH better this year.

I cut him, he's not going to be relevant this season.

This means Gates will get plenty of targets tonight. Lets hope there are enough to go around.

PPR

4/41 = 8.1 = kinda meh
2/29/2 = 16.9 = 1 good game
6/142/2= 32.2= 2 good games

Thoughts?

Not accurate. He's targeted, he's just not doing much with those targets.

PPR is a different story but the odds of having 2 catches for 2 tds is extremely rare. That's an outlier. Harris was on IR last year and Talib was in NE. I think it's a pretty big leap of faith to assume Allen is going to eat tonight. He may, but Denver's secondary has been great.

He leads the team in receptions. His YAC ( yards after catch) is down by more than half from last year. I think Allen is catching the shorter passes trying to make the defense miss, but they aren't missing tackles against him.

Malcom Floyd and Gates are reaping the benefits this year so far. Floyd has been pretty consistent and hasn't been talked about a whole lot.

I think tonight is Allen's night, but it's going to take a couple of good games before I start him. Although it isn't 7:30 just yet. Plenty of time for me to talk myself into it.

Harris and Talib have been beasts, no doubt. Rivers will find the open man though. Allen is no sure thing but he is long overdue for a nice showing

half my team is playing tonight... I dropped Novak just to not have a majority. That being said... he either goes off tonight, or he has been playing hurt.
