I guess they didn't teach things like manners, integrity, & fellowship at your HS like they did at Rummel.

why?

if there's one holiday i don't want football interfering with, it's Halloween... too many parties and trick or treaters to give the game the attention it deserves...

2nd on the list would be new year's eve

This is what I got at last week. Huge traditional high school rivalry, one team being nationally ranked, and that shite gets played on a Saturday night during a huge LSU game. Pure shite, shite shite shite. These kids get screwed on the true high school football experience

believe me... no they don't...

Saturday nights help the attendance for all those who root for other teams on Friday night and want to see another good game

besides LSU has two losses and Jennings still starting

I just disagree. Been to a handful of their saturday games, and the atmosphere compared to the Friday night feel is terrible. Especially when they play during the day on a Saturday. That has no atmosphere whatsoever. Im not trying to talk shite, I just hate the situation.

nope. both are undefeated in district. Jesuit 6-1 Rummel 7-0. Basically the winner will win district

they could have played a daytime game if not going up against LSU was that important... a few years ago when it was Jesuit that was undefeated, the game was at like 10 am

I love how people keep on discredited the other undefeated team in this district who is also 7-0. Im not saying Brother Martin will win district but they wont be some push over the last two weeks.

Saturday nights belong to college football.

This game should have been scheduled for a Thursday or Friday night, or Saturday during the day.

These 2 schools knew this was going to be a huge game, and they knew LSU-Ole Miss was was more-than-likely going to be a played that Saturday night.

Shame on both schools, especially whoever was involved with decision.

If this game was being played anytime but during the LSU game (Thurs., Friday, or even during the day Saturday), I would go.

Wait nevermind, played over the rising dew at 10am Like I said, I one feel bad for the kids, and two I am butthurt that when my kids go to school the games will be on Saturday

Isn't Rummel nationally ranked?

it's CBS's fault... LSU-Ole Miss was a CBS game candidate and they don't select that till like the week of the game, so Rummel schedules the game at 2 to avoid LSU and CBS picks it. that's happened before probably.

now that I think about it, Tulane is off this weekend, they could have played on Friday night there... maybe they would have if Jesuit was the home team, but Rummel is all about Metairie even if their roster isn't
