What are my options here? Land owner does not want us trapping the hogs for fear of deer getting in the trap. This has happened to him before. Hogs are only coming out at night.

Would a Boss Buck feeder help? or would they just knock it over?

Any advice is appreciated.

If you just want to keep them out of the feeder put hog paneling around it.

Awesome info - bookmarked - I have hog hunted for years and found some good stuff to apply in your thread.

TAM did a study shoing 27" was optimal height to keep hogs out and let deer in. For feed pens. need a 30-40 ft diameter pen with feeder in center.

put a no deer sign on the trap, then if they still go in you can say"at least I warned them, stupid deer"

Don't put tops on your traps so the deer and bears can get out.

One of these feeders should keep the hogs from getting the feed. It is high enough that only the deer should be able to reach.

i've had the BIG ones do some "belly flop" move to get over the panels. it ends up bending the panels over time.

The hogs we have on our lease would trash that feeder in an evening - if they didn't the bears would...
