There's a MASSIVE gap between to top 3 or 4 and the rest. 10th might sound high, but its really not in comparison (what we're currently comparing).

It's true. Liverpool is a small club.

you really believe what you read in the papers? No one knows what they were going to spend and we were always going to sell more than just Luis

Even BR said you would have to spend this summer

PSG is 15th

Rich owner doesn't not mean value of the club

offer Reus 250k+ a week next summer

In the LFC season long thread, that was always the one player most of us wanted, but the club thought otherwise. Would love to revisit it, but there is talk Pool may recall Origi in January from Lille.

Reus is the man, my favorite German player. It would kill me to see him in a Pool shirt. But looks like all the English clubs might not stand a chance getting him. Bayern is already lurking.

I don't think it's likely if it's even possible for LFC to land Reus given the interest from other clubs. I suggested 250k a week because that's the kind of wages he'll end up getting from somebody.

Last window, when Pool had that Suarez money, there were talks of a Reus bid on a few occassions. Dont remember an exact number, but we ended up signing Origi and Balo, so it doesnt matter at this point. Would love to revisit it, but I dont think we can now.

and value of the club doesn't mean you can spend £100mm in a window...

you are truly the thickest person on this board...

and of course we were going to spend, but you never heard anyone associated with the club say a dollar amount...

They should have kept Saurez, he only bit the guy because they were behind with 10 minites left and knew bitting him would force a trade from the British media.

Liverpool without Saurez is nothing bit a top 8 side at best.

I will make a permaban bet with you. If Liverpool finishes 8th or lower in the league this season I will never post on this soccer board ever again. If Liverpool finishes 7th or better then you will never post on the soccer board ever again. What do you say?

Don't bother. Dude has no idea what he's talking about. Finding coherent, sensible posts from the guy is like looking for a decent and tasteful Instagram photo of Enrique.
