The problem with not only news channels, but hollywood and everything Americans have bought into hook, line and sinker is that you are literally -wrong- ... a neanderthal.. f you don't vote democrat.
The American populace is to blame though. News networks are just a mathematical function... they will put out what sells. By default, they can't put it out there if it doesn't. Likewise with tv shows, and sales pitches for products and the whole thing. It permeates everything on tv, radio, and the internet. News networks are just ONE major cog in this machine.
The good thing is that it will try to correct itself on a long enough time line. The bad thing is that it could be far too late for us once it tries to.
