I always like getting on youtube and watching the old what will it be like in 2000's shows that were filmed in the 50 & 60's. Walter Cronkite made one that went through what a house would be like in 2001.

Arthur C Clarke made some pretty accurate predictions around the same time concerning life in the early 21st century.

That author underestimates the machine Clark is speaking of by talking about the 3d printer...

Clark is more closely referring to a quantum replicator, where given any design, quantum media can be assembled to exactly resemble the pattern...

We only need the computing power...if you look up the technology used to teleport particles, it will be similar, but you would not be displacing the original

Low-E windows are now pretty standard in all new construction. Blocks out UV and IR light. There is no need for them to adjust automatically as they are only slightly darker than standard windows.
