Louisville AD asking for donations at gas pumps. Smart or cheap?

Pathetic and clever at the same time. Seriously, I'm surprised smaller colleges haven't tried to do this.

Judging by that key pad, that station doesn't have a car wash. Probably has an entire Black N Mild display inside, though.

I dont' know why more people don't use that method. If the screen popped up and said

"Hey, will you donate $1.00 towards me buying strippers and blow"

I would probably do it. They get me everytime with the do you want the extra clean shite in your fuel

Not me. Being in sales I'm hardened to the pathetic drone add on sale attempt. I love the face of the cashier that asks me if I want to donate my change to whatever bullshite charity has a jar on the counter.

I always, always decline and am especially shitty about it if the cashier puts zero effort in trying to convince me or guilt me into donating. When I do get the 1 in a 100 person that genuinely asks for a minimal donation and I can see in their eyes they aren't full of shite, I'll donate and go overboard.

We're becoming a panhandler society of gimme gimme for no real reason just hustling each other all day.

You know some people will donate every time they fill up. 50 cents is nothing but it will add up. Great move by the AD.
