There is most probaly not a safer area in NOLA.

(Yeah, I heard about the gunshot death down the street from Steak Knife)

They should have Corky from Life Goes On do some commercials for them "Hi, I'm Corky on behalf of the Steak Knife. It's steak, done to perfecting!"

Yeah . . . there's a real bad element among the white Republicans in that part of town.

I was sitting outside of Mondo one night during the holidays and I watched a spectacular lakeview family brawl spill out of the Steak Knife. A young, drunk, freshly out of the closet gentleman, probably home for the first time since he left for his small southern liberal arts college, had a meltdown unlike anything I've ever seen. He wasn't that entertaining, but his mortified family was great.

That's the only story I have about the Steak Knife. It's not a good story. But I suspect it's better than the steaks there.
