Pay should be specific to the individual. No one person is alike another. If one person will accept a job for $50,000, but another negotiates and gets $60,000 for the same job, whose fault is that? You're going to get paid what you accept, if you're worth more and ask for it, you'll be paid more. If you accept shitty pay, then you only have yourself to blame.
