Never have seen one, was considering going to the one in Houston in a couple of weeks if for nothing else but to see the Blue Angels. Would love to go and get some good photos also.

Have seen them many, many times. They are the best of the best.

Do you pay to get in or just park down the road and watch for free?

I used to go to the one at Barksdale every year. It's a good time. Bring sunscreen

Have one here at Little Rock every year. If Blue Angels are gonna be there then definitely go.

Nope, no one, ever.

Went to the Blue Angels show in Pensacola 2 years ago.
The Blue Angels are the finale of the show. The rest of the day is filled with other planes. It's a good time but a pretty long day. Some acts are more exciting than others.

Definitely worth it.
Some locations have places to park away from the airfield where you can still see somethings, but the commentary during the show is also worth it. I don't think they are ever pricey events.

Yes. They used to have a pretty nice show at the Hammond Airport.

Air shows are awesome. Just remember to bring sunscreen (if they allow it). Once you've seen the Blue Angels once, it's easy to take for granted the precision and uniformity they fly with but it's impressive every time.
It's very cool to watch some of the local fighter squadrons put on demonstrations too like in New Orleans with VFA-204 and the other reserve adversary squadrons.

Love airshows.
Some of our best family memories were made at an airshow. Wholesome family fun.

I went to my first in a while last weekend. No BA, but the Thunderbirds were there, and they were awesome. Other demonstrations were cool, but quickly got a little bored.
A note on pricing:
We had VIP tickets which were like 150 bucks (my parents bought these for everyone who came so we could all be together, it wasn't my call). The sight lines were great because you were right in the middle of all the demonstrations, but I wouldn't recommend anything like it. Free beer and food and seats don't make up for it if you really only care about watching the main event. I think regular tickets were like 20 bucks.
It was not worth it. I like VIP suites and tents at some events, but there just isn't enough $$$ in play for them to make it worthwhile. Unless you want to drink 150 bucks worth of Bud light, that is.

Unless you're getting the VIP pass, the view is just as good from the side of HWY 3. You can see everything.

Saw the Blue Angels in Sigonella Sicily, amazing performance. If you vacation near Pensacola at the right time of year you can see them practicing.

My dad was a member of The Thunderbirds, so I've been to my fair share.
Even before that I lived on Air Force bases. As kids we rode our bicycles up, through, and out the tail of a C-5 the day before an Air Show.
