Need help in making a logo

You guys are way more creative than I am, and can probably come up with way better stuff than I can even think of. Here is what I have in mind, and then I will let you guys run with it, or go off on your own ideas with hit.
"APRD" is what I would like in simple block letters. What I would also like is some sort of silhouette of baseball, basketball, football players behind it.
It does not have to be anything extravagant, just something simple. This logo may go on t-shirts, signs, etc.

Cute soccer boy... But here is what I would like to see.
That Crest on the upper left of the site. Have all of that outlined in black with white background. Then have the APRD on top.
Or, it will likely be placed on a red shirt in white writing so perhaps do one in black and white and another with a red background.

What about that crest just outlined in black, with white? Doesn't have to completely stand out. Just kind of want it in the back ground of APRD. The sports figures can even be less visible in the background. Just to kind of be noticed, but not stand out. Am I making sense? One more quick request. Can you also make a colored form, where the crest in the background is the normal colors? Just taking the picture above (which is in color) and placing the colored form also on the logo. Thanks

Can anyone quickly fill in the color request I had from Pup's logo he made for me. I'd appreciate it greatly. It's just the crest that needs to be colored in.
