No, but Al Qaeda and ISIS is. When we create/train/fund, we do it right.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all. I don't know much about what has gone down, but if the guy is a Muslim, it's not far-fetched that he had some sort of "jihad" mission in mind, whether it failed or not. Terrorism doesn't need a lot of casualties to "work", though.
Extra points for claiming not to be a conspiracy theorist, and then proceed to map out your conspiracy theory.

Uhm, you need more than one person to have a conspiracy. You know, to "conspire" together?

Just saying.

Don't argue with him, he thinks that 9-11 was an inside job.

Planning dinner with your wife is conspiring.

People, including you, conspire quite often. It's easy to meet the definition.

You can conspire to do good things, bad things, or neutral things.

If this guy wanted to fight in Syria but had his passport taken away like the guy on Monday, I think this makes the case to let these crazies go and take their passport away after they leave the country.

I would support paying their airfare.

Today must have the progs in a tizzy today. Happening in a country with such strict gun control and by an Islamic guy... they probably feel like the war games computer in that awesome 80's movie, not knowing what to say or do.

So what are you telling me, that terrorism is now a one-man operation?

I am telling you that one man cannot conspire with himself. Now, if you doubt me, go and further research those famous "they" that you always refer to. "They" will support me.

Aah, so you're saying this was the work of one lone nut and not that of Muslim terrorism, like the conspiracy kooks in this thread claim.

I think a conspiracy theorist is one who holds to the idea of the conspiracy as being the truth; I don't (yet). I just think it's a possibility.

I believe a terrorist attack is possible but there isn't enough information for me to be swayed one way or another. It could just be some Islamic nut who wanted to prove a point by himself, or maybe he was just suicidal or had a grudge unrelated to jihad.

It's just fishy that over the past few months, there has been a lot more news coverage about Muslims committing violence against others in the name of their religion. While I don't know the motives of this individual (or group, if there were others), it's not far-fetched to assume it was religiously motivated.

That's a far cry from saying that the government is hiding UFOs in Area 51 or that the US government was responsible for 9/11, as some conspiracy theorists assert.

An ideologically driven lone nut? Yes.
His ideology? Islam.

he knows he has no arguments worth a shite, so he just twists words and calls other people conspiracy theorists. The guy is a total loser. He believes 9/11 was an inside job yet continues to live in the USA and pay his taxes.

I would answer your question, but then it could be said we were conspiring against him.
