You lay out every piece of intelligence and technology at their disposal and we'll figure it out together.

Better yet, it's late and I'm tired, just repeat that fairytale about the 19 Muslims and I'll fall fast asleep.

And believe it or not Communism was riding high in the saddle after the Vietnam war with a wave of success in Asia, South America, and Africa. It didn't last long before they folded up their tent I grant you, but the intent was there.
So when government demands that I shite my pants in fear, I shouldn't be too concerned?
Let's keep this between the two of us. There are some on this board that have put a lot of time and energy into grovelling at the feet of government, and shuddering at who or whatever ordered to.

Do you really want to bring up 9/11 again when you STILL dont have an answer for Barbara Olson? You're such a coward it's unbelievable. I will follow you around with this endlessly.

Have they explicitly and deliberately targeted Western, liberal societies?

They have targeted our people, in the united states, more often than jihadis. Why are you so fixated on Islam? Is it really that relevant?

Have you ever spent much time in an Islamic country? An Arabic country?

Other than Jordan, Saudi, Yemen, UAE, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, Kuwait, Tajikistan and Krygistan? No. Havent traveled there much. I dont know anything about Arabs, Turks, Kurds, Iranians, Pastuns, or Tajiks either. I managed to avoid the issue during my travels.

Cartel activity in 1,000 cities in the US?

Of course we are targeted in Mexico too: Lucky Bastardo

From States webpage:
quote:

The number of U.S. citizens reported to the Department of State as murdered in Mexico was 71 in 2012 and 81 in 2013.

quote:

Gun battles between rival criminal organizations or with Mexican authorities have taken place in towns and cities in many parts of Mexico. Gun battles have occurred in broad daylight on streets and in other public venues, such as restaurants and clubs. During some of these incidents, U.S. citizens have been trapped and temporarily prevented from leaving the area. Criminal organizations have used stolen cars, buses, and trucks to create roadblocks on major thoroughfares, preventing the military and police from responding to criminal activity. The location and timing of future armed engagements is unpredictable. We recommend that you defer travel to the areas specifically identified in this Travel Warning and exercise extreme caution when traveling throughout the other areas for which advisories are in effect

quote:

Police have been implicated in some of these incidents. Both local and expatriate communities have been victimized. Nearly 70 kidnappings of U.S. citizens were reported to the U.S. Embassy and consulates in Mexico between January and June of 2014.

quote:

To reduce risk when traveling by road, we strongly urge you to travel between cities throughout Mexico only during daylight hours, to avoid isolated roads, and to use toll roads ("cuotas") whenever possible.

quote:

The Mexican government has deployed federal police and military personnel throughout the country as part of its efforts to combat organized criminal groups. U.S. citizens traveling on Mexican roads and highways by car or bus may encounter government checkpoints, staffed by military or law enforcement personnel. In some places, criminal organizations have erected their own unauthorized checkpoints, at times wearing police and military uniforms, and have killed or abducted motorists who have failed to stop at them. You should cooperate at all checkpoints

You too can be psychic!

Just stop looking at the world as how you want it to be or how you think it should be and look at it as it really is. Reaching the conclusion that the Ottawa shooter was going to have some Islam tie-in was a stretch only for folks too worried about being PC.

It has everything to do with PC. People have been programed to think it is wrong to draw conclusions based on statistical likelihood.

It's not PC to see a purple Crown Vic on 27" rims in the parking lot of CVS and assume a black person drives it, but ya know what? A black person drives that shite.

A person trying to be PC won't admit it on the spot, but they know who drives it. They just won't say.

The same principle applies to people that think they are too enlightened to assume Muslims pulled off an attack like the one in Ottawa. They know how the truth is gonna break, they just have to play the game so they can pretend to be on an elevated plane.

Well i was waiting long time for the news to break for Lubys diner, newtown, columbine, the carthage, nc nuthouse shooting, jonesboro, holocaust museum shooting, samson, al shooting etc...turns out those were just run of the mill psychos.

But my argument isnt that muslims couldnt or wouldnt commit murder the way this asshat did, ive see them do far worse, in person, like real up close and personal. My point is that the automaton response mode americans are in these days is out of control. Muslims, Islam, or whatever isnt even a FRACTION of the threat it us portrayed to be, but we are continuously pounded with the same themes and narratives, no matter how hard the media has to squeeze a story to make it fit. People are responding mindlessly, making illogical conclusions based on almost ZERO understanding of what is happening in the world and why it is happening. People are collectively thinking like children. Its pathetic.

Maybe a nice neat narrative makes it believable that there can ever be a solution to these problems despite the thousands of years of history that say otherwise. Whatever man.

I'll award you half a point. There is a lot of knee jerk reactionary response to any random act of violence. But the context of this one, attack of a soldier in Canada with the recent attack on Monday, made this an easy connect-the-dot.

But it wasn't difficult to do. And the only thing that would prevent someone from assuming it was Islamist related (especially after the picture of the perp was posted to social media by an ISIS account) would be PC bullshite.
