I almost feel bad for him.

OK, not really.

He's the definition of a defensive coordinator that shouldn't be a head coach.

Sweet fancy Moses, that's a crazy stat.

homerun hire for the school that gets him as DC.

thinking a&m will throw their hats in the ring relatively quickly.

Possibly.

I believe Kirby Smart may finally take a job as HC somewhere and Muschamp could end up back on Saban's staff.

Saban will soon have two failed SEC HC as coordinators.

Why would he want to coach at a school that will have his defense on the field all the damn time.

Those defenses suck for a reason, because they offenses try to score as quickly as possible and give no rest for the defense.

But when Jimbo comes to the SEC, that narrative will fall apart

bc money talks and a&m is desperate.

if anything, i don't think they'll got outside of the SEC to find their next DC. they tried it with snyder, and it's a complete fail.

i don't think a&m's defensive failures are based on their time on the field. their scheme sucks and they haven't bought into snyder's system.

I actually feel a bit bad for Muschamp. When I was in Grad School one of my business Profs had a saying that you should never, ever follow a legend. It's a recipe for failure in most cases. At UF Urban Meyer is the legend and Muschamp never measured up to him.

A decade later LSU fans still have issues with Les due in large part to the same phenomenon regarding following Saban.

Muschamp is a quality Coach, maybe not a Head Coach. He just needs to be somewhere else as UF isn't the right fit.

I like Robb Smith, I'd take Boom as DC of tFlagship in a heartbeat. He can straight coach some defense.

Also, Carol
