ESPN just had him as a guest on their First Take Show with Stephen A. Smith & Bayless.

Wow, what a transformation.

One, he's 49 years old. Seems like only yesterday he was the Boz and a national figure for OU.

Two, he's apparently turned his life around and recognized the mistakes he's made.

He was on First Take to promote an ESPN 30 for 30 titled Brian and the Boz that will air on ESPN next Tuesday night the 28th.

Should be a good watch.

I have experienced very few moments in sports that were more satisfying than watching Bo Jackson truck Bosworth on his way into the end zone on a Monday night in Seattle.

You weren't alone. They discussed it briefly and I'm sure it will be covered in more depth Tuesday night.

How many other athletes careers have been all but destroyed by a single play that did not result in injury to them? I guess maybe Bill Buckner is the closest comparison I can think of.

I would argue that Donnie Moore's life crumbled after that one fateful pitch to Dave Henderson…..same year as Bill Buckner's play, oddly enough. 1986 will forever be the greatest baseball post season ever.

ESPN often times doesn't get a lot of love on the boards and most of the time, rightfully so.

But the 30 for 30 series is a good effort and most of those I've watched, I've enjoyed them.

I liked him in the movie "Stone Cold"; the biker gang flick where he was the DEA undercover cop.

Mitch Williams? I was fairly young, but I know he was never the same after Joe Carter.

Always felt like Bo running over Boz play was overrated. I didn't care much for Boz either but that play happens all the time in the nfl and he just simply sucked as an nfl player. Even if he makes the tackle and stops Bo, he still sucks and doesn't play much more.

Here is a legit hit, and I was huge on Hawthorne coming to saints at the time.
