An interesting read regarding some simulations they ran to model a black hole. A really cool video is included as well. Some great stuff here.

Dazzled by the ambition & intelligence of Chris Nolan's INTERSTELLAR. Terrific performances, haunting imagery, WOW. See it in 70MM IMAX.

I can now tell you guys that I know a few people who have seen INTERSTELLAR. Most loved it, one really disliked it.

#Interstellar is extraordinary - an angry, Heinlein-influenced rebuttal to Clarke and Kubrick's 2001 & a poem to light and gravity...

We saw #Interstellar in 70mm IMAX tonight. Compounded the resonance with 2001 in fascinating ways. And the blacks and whites - mmmm!

Apparently it was screened for the troops at Fort Hood as well

Interstellar is probably the most depressing movie I've ever seen.

So, these are the super blurry photos I got of Mathew McConaughey. My phone’s camera is so terrible oh my god

Taken in Fort Hood during a pre-screening of Interstellar, which is SUPER ****ING AMAZING. It’s heartbreaking, but in a good way.

@gschiller13 Perfection. Uses just the right amount of creative fiction when a majority of it is scientific & makes you think the whole time

OMG just saw Mathew McConaugehy and saw a free screening of Interstellar. Was actaully a pretty good movie, really long though . . . . and the 50 crying, screaming kids didnt help either.

I just told Christopher Nolan he redefined the way wormholes look. Likely the last thing he wanted to hear—sorry! Interstellar was amazing!

Loui ?@lgsolani 1h1 hour ago
@jamiezigelbaum what about the performances? do you think there's something oscar worthy?

@lgsolani I don't know about all that, but Matthew McConaughey is again showing something remarkable.

Saw Interstellar last night...absolutely brilliant. Get ready for a new world.

There was an exhibitor screening today in NY, IMAX 70mm. Reactions I received:

"The film's narrative relies so firmly on hard science, that it might prove perplexing to some audiences, particularly with regard to black holes."

It's "amazing" and has "mind blowing visuals" and Zimmer's church organ-based score is very different for him.

Trying to stay away from all the hype and trailers so I don't JIMP. I've already seen too much from the last trailer that was shown on tv.

A question I do have is will it be too complex for general audiences. A lot of these people who saw it at Fort Hood are saying people were walking out scratching their heads. Apparently it confused a lot of them.

I don't think I can watch this movie because I'm afraid my eyes will explode from all the awesomeness on screen.

I hate to spoil this for anyone, but this involves one of the many scenes of a shirtless McConaughey in space. Breathtaking, though, especially in IMAX.

I refuse to watch the movie simply because of the liberal agenda of global warming it will undoubtedly force down my throat.

If this weren't a Nolan movie, that's what everyone would be saying.

Can't wait to see it. I'm thinking about seeing it in a Movie Tavern type of setting--pay more money for a better experience and no distractions.
