Dardenne because I hate David Vitter and I sort of know Dardenne from years ago. And Landrieu's not running.

I have nothing major against Caldwell. So out of that group I'll go with the devil I know.

I will vote for either of them. Dardenne was one of my frat brothers uncle.

I'm tired of Jindal's partisan grandstanding, so among other reasons I don't want to see Vitter win.

This makes absolutely no sense.

Will:
GOV-Vitter
LT-Guillory
AG-Caldwell

Want:
A.B.V. ...Anyone but Vitter

Thoughts: Dardenne should pack it up now, LA will not elect this man Governor.

what I'm trying to say is I believe Vitter will be, as others have said, Jindal on steroids.

arly speculations: who do you want and who will?

Governor?
Vitter, Dardenne, Angelle, Edwards, Landrieu?

Lieutenant Governor?
Guillory, Holden, Nungesser, Edmonson, Young?

Attorney General?
Landry, Caldwell, Maley?

Governor: Vitter, by a lot.

Lt. Gov.: Nungessor, close.

Attorney General: Landry, wait until those in the energy industry find out about Caldwell and legacy lawsuits (i.e. contingency fee cases awarded by the AG's office to plaintiffs lawyers)

I wouldn't go so far as to say this. There's a guy I've come to know who worked on his '07 campaign and on his staff before going back into the private sector whom I have alot of respect for.

However, Jindal does surround himself heavily with 3 types: 1) arse-kissers 2) Carpetbaggers 3) People willing to do his dirty work so he can stay clean.

Sometimes, a person may be all three.

Angelle was person #3 while in Jindal's staff, which he was already familiar with from his prior political involvement.

This can be said for Governor and Lt. Governor race as well...

Food for thought:

Jindal and Vitter despise one another... If Vitter is going to win, He will want to resign when HE gets to appoint his replacement in the Senate... Not Jindal.

When this happens, Watch the Governor and Lt. Governor races for some movement in/out due to the "possibility" of being appointed to the Senate.

That being said, Vitter's term in Senate is up in 2016, so his replacement will only operate from January to November essentially, and would be campaigning the entire year, and not getting much done on the Hill... Would make 2016 Senate race more interesting, and only because of y'all's state's jungle primary system.

Again, just something to think about

ETA: do you give it someone who helped you along the way, or do you give it to someone to maneuver them out of the race against you or someone you'd rather work with?
