Don't want just earbuds, as these never stay in place for me...no matter what. I do like earbuds that have the over-ear loop.

Looking for something that can take sweat, a cord that takes constant rolling up and unrolling without getting crimped, and overall just pretty durable.

If it has a microphone for phone calls, all the better, but not necessarily a must.

TIA.

I have these and I love them. They are ok, but not great for taking calls. If you mainly want them to listen to music though they're awesome.

I ordered some of these but haven't tried them out yet. Nothing for talking on the phone, but I'm not going to talk on the phone while running or working out. I got the green ones and not the blue.

After several attempts to find the perfect running earbuds I landed on these and have been more than impressed. A little on the high side but you're going to get what you pay for when dealing with electronics.

Nothing works Better than a little bandage tape holding it to your ear.

Yurbuds are great. Lock in and don't move while running. Can get versions with over the ear and/or controls for iPhone or android. Looks like there is a sale too. I had a pair that didn't quite fit and they sent me a bigger set within a few days.

I think the Bose Freestyle meets your needs ( LINK). I prefer them to noise cancelling earbuds for running because they don't form a seal in your ear canal - you might be able to hear the truck bearing down on you. They're durable and have a perfect cord length for running. I mostly use mine with an ipod shuffle though, rather than a phone.

This will be my next headphones purchase... my only hesitation is that these become useless once the battery fails to hold a charge. I keep hoping they will make the battery replaceable

I made sort of a poor man's version. I bought the Freestyles and then bought the tips from the QC's. LINK.

Maybe worth trying that out with my IE2's before I pull the trigger on those... thanks for the advice
