last week i shot my second deer with a bow, the doe in the first picture. two days later my cousin got his first deer with a bow. bad shot on a small 5 point, but it got the job done

Hell, if I didn't shoot bambis and bucks inside the ears I wouldn't have much, if any meat in the freezer. Don't get me wrong, I love knocking down a big swamp donkey but I don't eat antlers. Sorry

Hackberry, spent 2 days. 42 ducks and 2 limits of reds. The one day I think we could of caught 100 reds, they were piled up at a set of locks. We caught them on jig heads with no plastics on it.

hey fricktard, do you bow hunt? my cousin who shot the mall 5 pt was on his first hunt with a bow, and a got a deer. id say thats impressive and exciting for him. and since im the land owner, its up to me on what he can shoot or not. (no one anywhere near us hunts, and if they do its in a high fence).

My buck was inside the ears but he was a 3.5 year old 200+lb 6 point. He wasn't getting too much bigger.
The outside the ears rules does not apply in all situations and does not apply in all areas.

Sooting big bucks is a personal preference PERIOD. I am sick and tiered of horn porn. Yes there are some small bucks in here but who cares, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I hunt in Washington parish and if we see a deer every 3 hunts we are doing well. The rules in the club are it's brown it's down, everyone has fun and understands the rules. I own a farm in IL and if someone shoots something less than 150" they won't be invited back. Nothing wrong with either place or rule so long as everyone hunting enjoys it and is in agreement. I can't stand the why did you shoot that when someone is proud enough of it to put a picture on the internet. If you don't like it don't shoot it and don't look at the damn picture.
